Hydraulic presses deliver controlled force for forming, straightening, assembly and pressing. Choose the force, the frame and the control for the work you do.
Select the nominal force with a margin above the highest force your work needs. Running a press near its limit constantly shortens its life.
H-frame presses are common for workshop pressing and straightening. C-frame presses give easy access from three sides for lighter work.
Check the stroke and the opening between the table and the ram against the largest part and tooling you use.
Compare the table size and its load capacity. Adjustable tables and accessories make the press more flexible.
Manual, pneumatic-hydraulic and electric control differ in speed and repeatability. Make sure guarding and safety devices are suitable for your work.
Find the highest force your operations require and choose a press with a margin above it.
An H-frame press is rigid and common for general workshop work. A C-frame press gives open access for lighter jobs.
The stroke is how far the ram moves. The daylight is the opening between the table and the ram, which limits the height of the part and tooling.
That depends on the job. Tell us what you press or form and we will advise what is needed.
